A few things you should know about us...

Sippie Hippie started as a mobile unit back in August of 2022. The mobile unit named Rosy is a red and white 1971 VW bus turned into an espresso bar.

The Duck Latte is named after a family with that last name. The Duck's are an important part of Sippie Hippie because they helped give us our start at their wedding and are now good friends.

Sippie Hippie is a for profit business but did you know we also have a non-profit that supports individuals of all abilities named Middle Ground Connections.

Sippie Hippie was started by two special education teachers looking to break down stereotypes and help individuals with all abilities feel like they belong.

Both Josh and Joe had small coffee shops they created at their respective schools. Each creating a space for individuals of all abilities to co exist with each other. One of those coffee shops was name The Middle Ground.

Steve, our cocktail lounge's bus name, is named after the man that sold it to us. Unfortunately, Steve was struggling with cancer and had to part ways with a lifetime collection of VW vehicles, parts, and memorabilia among other things. This is why the busses name is Steve but it's also why our bartenders mechanics shirts have that name as well.

Around 20% of Sippie Hippie's workers have some kind of disability.

Our "unofficial' mascot is a sloth named Zen. You can find Zen's painting inside the cafe area.

We have a collection of over 1.000 vinyl records as of 2025 and people will drop off unwanted collections for us to go through and add to the collection.

As you wander around Sippie Hippie you will notice mini sloths hidden all over. Feel free to move them around or take one home with you.

We have two bathrooms inside Sippie Hippie. One has a moon theme and the other a sun theme. Leaning into the hippie vibe.

Steve the bus is also a 1971 VW same age as Rosy. It was originally a maroon red before being painted black.

The Green walls inside Sippie Hippie is based on a color named Duck Green tying in the Duck family once again.

The bar top was designed and redone by our good friend Kieth. The top is made of a vintage bowling alley that is close to 100 years old and pure maple wood. Check out the pin drop section right at the end of the bar.

The blue bus front end located by the menu boards is named Gus the bus.
